Shri Shri Sangeet & Nritya Vidyalaya has received both popular and critical acclaim for its innovative dance and vocational music courses. Established in the year 2007, the Academy was created with a unique vision to provide a platform for budding youngsters/aspirants as well as artists to learn, practice and perform on stage and to create Indian cultural awareness amongst all age groups starting 4 years and above. It is affiliated to Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mandal Mahavidyalaya, Miraj. It is a centre for conducting exams in vocal and instrumental classical music for both sessions every year. The Academy is also affiliated as a member with SPIC MACAY (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth) whose aim is to have every child experience the inspiration and mysticism embodied in Indian and World heritage. Today, Shri Shri Sangeet and Nritya Vidyalaya exists as the city’s premiere institution under the leadership of Founder Mr. Chandrashekhar Mor and Director Mrs. Usha Chandrashekhar Mor and her team of teachers.
